Mobile Suite - Sync Control - Overview

Sync Control provides companies with the control on synchronization processes. Administrators configure which mobile devices may exchange, update or copy data (e.g. emails, contacts) with which desktop PC. By means of Company Keys or X.509 certificates appropriate rights may be generated and safely realized via synchronisation groups.

Amongst other things Sync Control allows companies:

□ To implement synchronization rights on user, department or company level
□ To synchronize Company PDA exclusively with Company PCs
□ To protect infrastructure against infiltration of unwanted □ To protect company sensitive data against theft

When initialising an ActiveSync connection Sync Control verifies the authorization and establishes a data link only on success. Unwanted connections like e.g. the unauthorized use of private Pocket PCs with company-owned notebooks or synchroniZation of Company Smart Phones with the private Desktop PC are reliably disabled.
