Datacenter Security - Security for database outsourcing
CORISECIO enables companies to use the benefits of near- and off-shoring without taking security risks. The encryption of sensitive data allows secure storage in external data centers. The selective data encryption down to field level enables fine-grained definable access rights for databases to master all conceivable outsourcing scenarios.
For companies, the database administration near- resp. off-shoring is gaining more and more attractiveness. This is mainly because of the low maintenance costs for the individual database systems. The security of the data confronts companies with challenges to be overcome. Major safety concerns exist referring to outsourced business critical data concerning themes like integrity, privacy and confidentiality.
CORISECIO meets this challenge with the new solution Datacenter Security. The efficient solution package for data security and access control for outsourcing scenarios is based – as all CORISECIO solutions are – on the Open Source securityRunTime (secRT), an Eclipse RunTime project.
Here, the datacenter portfolio provides innovative security components for the areas Database Access Control, Secure Data Warehouse, Secure Database as well as Secure Documents. Furthermore, Test Data Generation provides a solution for the efficient generation of pseudonymized test data from real data.

CORISECIO secRT provides a secure runtime for various security solutions in organizations. The secRT is developed as an Eclispe project and provides several advantages in the Enterprise Version, which enhances the security level of the solution.
Using adapter signature, it can be guaranteed that only allowed adapters are executed in the runtime. Additionally the Enterprise Version provides a central administration for all operated secRT entities in the organization, which improves the level of control over the security solution. The secRT is a security platform for security infrastructures and is developed as an Eclipse runtime project. During development of the secRT, great emphasis was placed to provide a stable basis for security solutions.
To provide this goal, the secRT offers a multitude of basic requirements for security solutions like an Entity & Key Management, a Certificate Authority and a simple tool for the definition of security processes. Using the secRT, organizations may define customized security solutions to fit their requirements.

Did you know that CORISECIO security solutions do not require an additional entity management for entities, which are already existing in the directories of an organization? You can enhance every CORISECIO solution using the adapters LDAP and Remote Directory to directly work with entities inside your directories.
