End-to-end security with an automated roll-out for BlackBerry devices
CORISECIO Mobile Security Solution - the security solution for BlackBerry devices for enterprises. This solution enables making use of the security standards of a PKI also for the communication with BlackBerry devices. Like all of the CORISECIO solutions, also this solution is based on the Open Source securityRunTime (secRT), an Eclipse Runtime project.
The entire communication with the BlackBerry is encrypted with the standard PKI method. The user-friendliness of the devices remains completely unchanged. Roll-Out and Certificate Management are conducted entirely automated, and private keys are stored safely on the device. Just with one click, existing or new certificates can be used for secure communication.
A central management with an automated roll-out makes new devices enterprise-ready with a few mouse clicks! Thereby, roll-out is carried out safely through portals which can be adopted smoothly into the enterprise infrastructure. Software and certificates are automatically distributed. Inconvenient collecting and configuring of the devices is not necessary, since the distribution is conducted over-the-air (OTA), even for thousands of devices. The user needs to configure the software only once. Thereafter, transparent decryption/encryption of all of the messages on the device is conducted without further actions.

CORISECIO applies certificate-based encryption to all data that you send or receive. To do this, the CORISECIO Mobile PKI (BlackBerry) uses interfaces of the system software on the mobile device and your companies BES Server (BlackBerry Enterprise Server). Encryption is only as secure, as the storage of the encryption keys is. If the key storage can be unlocked, the whole security efforts are worthless.
The CORISECIO Mobile PKI implements a special secured key storage. It is bound to the device itself, the SIM card and an additional password. If one of them is missing, the container remains locked. Misuse of your keys is thereby surely prevented, and the safely stored keys enable data security.
